Yes, as most of you have just read, Clark had an unfortunate bout of constipation that is giving the docs pause for concern. The official word is...not coming home this weekend.
S'okay, kids. Save your 'poor Jason and Christy' comments for another day. We are disappointed, of course, but more like a kid being disappointed to hear that his ball game was rained out. The clouds will part, the air will be fresher, and at that time, we will play ball again!
Fact is, Clark is still doing amazing. As you can see, he's snuggling up to a photo of Daddy, happy, snug, and (EMPTY).
Monday. Monday might be a good day???
I am just looking at his face in this pic and compare to the pic on the sidebar. Just amazing. Simply amazing. Even if he has a few more days in the joint. He'll be home soon enough pooping all over you. In fact - watch this video. It will give you a laugh and it's something to look forward to you.

He looks awful healthy and happy to me! Just a blip on the radar screen, and everyone being super attentive. Doing more twists on Clark's behalf (and mine! LOL) - Sending more heartbeams.
ReplyDeleteThinking good thoughts for monday!
ReplyDeleteWell no wonder...who would want to leave a bed with that gorgeous picture in it???
ReplyDeleteI haven't pooped in 9 and a half months, so i can relate!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see pics of him at home with his parents...
sending you all our love
mandy and jeremy
Wish you could him prunes! Gave Chloe her first and well... blow out city! xo
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Clark's tummy. As Christy knows very well, we dealt with this a lot with Madeline. She's all better now (much thanks to Christy's guidance), and I know, for certain that before you know it, little Clark will be poopin' with glee (and one day, on a potty, no less!) My heart goes out to you guys - I'm sending all kinds of soft, poopy thoughts.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Kathy
Look at the above picture of Clark. He's figured out exactly how much we need to worry about this little setback. Remember, in the immortal words of Bob Marley (and others)... Don't worry, Be happy!!!

Love and Heartbeams

my mantra for the weekend is home sweet home
ReplyDeleteHe will be home soon! Monday, Tuesday, any day is good as long as he gets to be home with Mommy and Daddy. A couple more days is just a minor bump in the road. Heartbeams and poop prayers heading his way. Love to all of you!
